Return of the roll neck

August 22nd, 2018 by David McManus

It is a common belief that roll neck jumpers went out of fashion back in the 90’s. However, this is far from the truth, as this Autumn the roll neck is yet again a staple piece in a stylish gentleman’s wardrobe.

Roll neck jumpers are the perfect comfy Autumn wear. Its charm is multi-fold – meaning; the roll neck is still one of the most practical pieces in a man’s wardrobe when the climate begins to change. Either worn casually, or formally, a roll neck jumper can work in any situation during the Autumn months.

Autumnal colours are usually a good place to start when it comes to picking a palette for your roll neck jumper. The much anticipated AW18 Collection has an expansive roll necks colour range comprising of Greys, Maroons and tonal Blues, that work perfectly for both the office and for casual occasions.

As we approach the launch of the #MRQAW18 collection, we are excited to reveal an exclusive look at our new roll neck garment.

Be Autumn ready, with #MRQAW18.

Travelling lightweight: Lightweight Cashmere

August 9th, 2018 by Matt Case

Packing for a vacation can be a real hassle. The main predicament before going on holiday, especially for an extended time, is knowing how much and what to pack. However, this headache can be prevented when lightweight cashmere is in your suitcase.

Despite its reputation as the finest material in the colder months of the year, cashmere and its unique properties provide an excellent option for a summer getaway. The material is soft, wrinkle-free and lightweight, making it simple and stress-free to travel with. Due to its wrinkle-free qualities, cashmere can be worn immediately upon arrival at the hotel.

In fact, why not travel in cashmere? Due to the density of the fibres being higher than that of wool, the texture leaves a comfortable, itch-free feeling on your skin, ideal for long-haul flights. The diameter of cashmere fibres is exceptionally small, resulting in a naturally breathable texture. In addition, the insulation capacity is 8 times higher than wool, cashmere will keep you warm (but never hot) in heavily air conditioned locations like airports, restaurants or taxis. Put simply, cashmere keeps you cool when it’s hot and warm when it’s not…

Our holiday picks.

The flight out: DEAN – Short sleeve cotton cashmere crew

Dinner at the hotel: NEWMAN – Cashmere basket weave soft grey crew neck.

The flight home: ARLINGTON – Cashmere sweatpants
